Services for Kathleen Coig Brown were held at 1PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2024 at Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church, Jonesville, LA with Rev. Joel Ford officiating. Interment followed at Heard Cemetery, Manifest, LA under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.

Kathleen Coig Brown, 70, of Jonesville, LA, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at her home. She was born June 8, 1953 in New Orleans, LA, raised in Metairie and spent the rest of her life in Jonesville. She loved being a member of Sandy Lake Pentecostal Church. She liked music, sewing, cooking and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie James Brown; father, Wesley Ronald Coig; mother, Velma Lee Roberts Coig; and one granddaughter, Destiny D. Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Wade M. Brown and wife Tonya and James L. Brown; one daughter, Amanda Brown Cruse, all of Jonesville; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Sandra Elizabeth Coig; and a host of nephews, nieces, great nieces and great nephews.

Pallbearers were Jacob Weeks, Brian Chase Weeks, Landon Alexander, Brandon Brown, Marcus Brown, Rylan Brown and Cameron Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Brian Weeks and Dayton Brown.
