The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) Wild Turkey Population Survey, which debuted in 2022, has added a valuable tool to the agency’s effort to track the species throughout the state. Individuals arrested for non-violent crimes will no longer be exempt from havng their mug shots published in newspapers or online news site.Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry signed Senate Bill 24 back in May, effectively overturning a 2022 law that restricted the release of mugshots for non-violent criminal offenders.
